God

Today I asked my Mom a question, "Mom, do you think that God chooses us to go to heaven or we choose him?" Her reply was,"Well God knows who we will choose, but he gives us a choice to choose him." I agreed. I don't think that God makes human beings just so that they go to you know where. I think that God gives us the choice to choose him. I stand firm on my answer.

Let it shine!

Remember how I said I went to camp well I just was touched at camp by something the pastor said while we were there. He told us that we could not only glow spiritually we cam glow physically, and no I don't mean you can glow green or something like that but I mean Glow so that when people see you they want to have what you have. And the funny thing that is similar about Christians and Glow sticks is that sometimes when we become Christians we Glow really bright and as the years go by we start to fade away. I n glow sticks there really bright for a night and by the next night they hardly show in the deep dark night. But something we can Change is we have the option to continue to let our light glow forever. Unlike the glow sticks that only have a few hours, we have a life time! Let your Light Shine!!!!

GLOW

This week I went to church camp at Mount Lebanon and I had a blast, but not only did I have fun I met God on the next level. Our theme this year was G.L.O.W or- Go Light Our World! Our pastor, Jessie the Juggler, was quite remarkable, and he taught us that God was omnipresent- or, always there. He also told us that that as Christians we need to glow on the world and let our lights shine so that people will see our good deeds and glorify our father in Heaven (Matthew 5:16)! Today

Today I had a question eating at the back of my mind. Why did God create us if he knew everything that we were going to do? So I asked my brothers Girlfriend, Hannah Hopkins. She told me because he wanted to give us free will. I still thought that I didn't understand it all. It was very hard to wrap your mind around.But do not be afraid to ask someone. Or you can ask God he will always be available!

Knocked Down

On Friday I was sicker than a dog. I hate being sick and If you know me I get sick quite a bit. Being sick a lot it knocks me down and I can not get back up again it feels like. I think its the devils way of getting you down. You think that you will never get better. Not true. If You pray to God you will get better! It may take time but never give up on God, because I assure you he will never give up on you!

The Talent show

Yesterday I was in a talent show and when I got on stage I could feel my heart pound in my head. What a rush. Anyway I so want to do it again!

Rescued By the Cross

On Wednesday night I went to a church to here someone speak named Ken Freeman. He shared his story from top to bottom. It was all about how he was rescued by the cross. Right now I am in the process of reading his book called, Rescued by the Cross! It has made me feel so lucky to have the life that I have. A wonderful home and family.He had 9 different step fathers growing up. It truly brought tears to my eyes, and the eyes of others.Including my best friend Shanie she excepted Christ and is now going to the narrow gate. Ken Freeman Is too. What an amazing God we have! Does anybody else agree?

A Walk to the Narrow Gate

When I was little, I never really listened to God. I talked the whole time. I don't know if you do that too, but I promise your not the only one! Even people you wouldn't think about probably do overlook God occasionally. A song you should listen to is What Do I know of Holy? by Addison Road because that song really spoke to me. It told me to stop talking and start listening. This blog is not about how to become holier than thou. This is about how to become a Christian and your walk to the narrow 3:16gate(Heaven). I'm not saying I'm perfect at all, in fact I can tell you that I got into trouble for disobeying my parents once on Christmas and Valentines day. There we go I broke a commandment. Commandment number five, but believe me it wasn't the only time I've ever broken one of the ten big rules to leading a Christian life. So are you ready to except him or make your relationship with him better?
