God is BIG

It has been such a long time since i have posted, and I am so sorry! Recently I went to camp and we talked about how BIG God really is. Have you ever sat down and thought about how small we really are? There are billions of humans on earth. You are just one out of billions. The earth compared to the sun is miniature, the sun is just one out of trillions of stars. Our solar system is just one out of millions that make up the milky way. So how could one person take care of all of that and still have time to listen to billions of people's problems? We try to make God so small, but the truth is that there is no way  we can attempt to make him small. He is so much bigger than the shoe box we try to put him in.  Jeremiah 29:11 says,  "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord,"plans to prosper you not to harm you, plans to give you future and a hope." In the bible it also says that God knew you before there was even a you to know! How crazy is that? It also states that he knit you together in you mothers womb! That just shows you how big God really is and that he wants to have an amazing relationship with you. He knows all of your flaws and he still loves you SO much that he sent his only son to die for you. God knows exactly what he has in plan for you and you may have a plan for yourself, but we all need to learn that we might have to put that plan aside and welcome what God has in store for us, because he knows what's best. God doesn't belong in your pocket. He want's complete control of your life. He is so much bigger than we think he is, so don't forget that even if no one else seems to love you for you, God does.

God

Today I asked my Mom a question, "Mom, do you think that God chooses us to go to heaven or we choose him?" Her reply was,"Well God knows who we will choose, but he gives us a choice to choose him." I agreed. I don't think that God makes human beings just so that they go to you know where. I think that God gives us the choice to choose him. I stand firm on my answer.

Let it shine!

Remember how I said I went to camp well I just was touched at camp by something the pastor said while we were there. He told us that we could not only glow spiritually we cam glow physically, and no I don't mean you can glow green or something like that but I mean Glow so that when people see you they want to have what you have. And the funny thing that is similar about Christians and Glow sticks is that sometimes when we become Christians we Glow really bright and as the years go by we start to fade away. I n glow sticks there really bright for a night and by the next night they hardly show in the deep dark night. But something we can Change is we have the option to continue to let our light glow forever. Unlike the glow sticks that only have a few hours, we have a life time! Let your Light Shine!!!!

GLOW

This week I went to church camp at Mount Lebanon and I had a blast, but not only did I have fun I met God on the next level. Our theme this year was G.L.O.W or- Go Light Our World! Our pastor, Jessie the Juggler, was quite remarkable, and he taught us that God was omnipresent- or, always there. He also told us that that as Christians we need to glow on the world and let our lights shine so that people will see our good deeds and glorify our father in Heaven (Matthew 5:16)! Today

Today I had a question eating at the back of my mind. Why did God create us if he knew everything that we were going to do? So I asked my brothers Girlfriend, Hannah Hopkins. She told me because he wanted to give us free will. I still thought that I didn't understand it all. It was very hard to wrap your mind around.But do not be afraid to ask someone. Or you can ask God he will always be available!

Knocked Down

On Friday I was sicker than a dog. I hate being sick and If you know me I get sick quite a bit. Being sick a lot it knocks me down and I can not get back up again it feels like. I think its the devils way of getting you down. You think that you will never get better. Not true. If You pray to God you will get better! It may take time but never give up on God, because I assure you he will never give up on you!

The Talent show

Yesterday I was in a talent show and when I got on stage I could feel my heart pound in my head. What a rush. Anyway I so want to do it again!
